Match! Version 2: Beta Version Download
You can download the latest Match! 2 beta version from this page. Installation packages
are available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux (Intel 32-bit).
The current version is: 2.0.0 beta 9 (created January 11, 2012; valid until February 29, 2012)
Before downloading, please note the limitations of the beta version.
The limitations of the current beta version are:
- The User Database Manager is not yet implemented, so that you cannot
create a user database yet. This also affects the import of entries from
cif-files or ICSD/Retrieve. However, you can use user database files
(*.mtu) created with Match! version 1.
- The documentation is rather incomplete. There is only
a short tutorial introduction to the software in which many features are not yet covered.
- The online help is not available yet.
- The beta-version licence is limited in time. The current version of the
software will run until February 29, 2012.
Most probably, the first full version will be released in March or April 2012, so that the expiration period of the beta-version might no longer be extended after this date.
- Finally, there are certainly some bugs left in the software. If you have
found any kind of bug, please send an e-mail to putz@crystalimpact.de. Please try to
describe the problem as detailed as possible, as well as how it can be reproduced (if possible), and attach any files (e.g. diffraction data) that may
be required. Thank you in advance!

If you are interested in the free-of-charge Match! 2 beta-version,
we would appreciate very much if you could give us some information about who you are and where you come
from. Although this is not mandatory for downloading the beta-version, we would like to be able to
inform you by e-mail when updated versions
or new information about the final release have become available.

Download Match! 2 Beta
If you have already installed a previous beta-version of Match! 2, please uninstall the
previous one before installing the new version!
Before downloading the appropriate installation package using the corresponding link
in the table below, please read the corresponding file "Readme.txt" carefully, in order to
learn about system requirements as well as how to install the software on the corresponding platform
(especially in case of the Linux package as well as installation on Windows Vista). Note that in any case you need administrator privileges to install the software!
