Diamond Version 5.1 released

The new version 5.1 of Diamond offers several new commands and functional enhancements that are especially useful when designing building units like organic linkers in Metal Organic Frameworks (MOF).
- Selecting atoms, bonds, molecules, and other objects:
- Edit/Reduce Selection as counterpart of Expand Selection.
- New Edit/Extended Selection sub-menu with these new commands:
- Select or deselect Fragments.
- Object selection (e.g. labels of selected atoms).
- Select or deselect symmetry-related atoms or fragments or molecules.
- Select all atoms at x,y,z or the opposite: Select all atoms not at x,y,z.
- Added commands to select atoms, fragments or molecules from the atomic parameter table.
- Destroying of unselected atoms, bond, and molecules:
- New command to destroy the unselected atoms and bonds - rather than the selected ones.
- New command to destroy unselected molecules.
- Edit/Copy Style and Paste Style enhanced:
- Copying and pasting of styles of multiple different objects in one step.
- Transferring styles between different object, e.g. from atom to label.
- Transferring styles of polyhedron faces and edges.
- Desing schemes:
- Creating a design scheme from the selected part of a structure.
- Applying a design scheme exclusively to the selected objects in a picture.
- File/Save As/Save Graphics As:
- Option to define a higher resolution (vertices count) when exporting to OBJ or STL files.
- Some minor bugs have been repaired.

The update to Diamond 5.1 is free-of-charge for all customers who own a license for Diamond 5.0.x as well as for Diamond 4.
