Pearson's Crystal Data: Sales Point
Several license types are available in two different models: permanent and one-year
limited licenses. The one-year license model offers a low-price entry point
to Pearson's Crystal Data.
Prices for one-year licenses

Note:
- The academic one-year licenses (*) are only available by electronic delivery.
- The "academic" one-year license types and the reduced prices ("Degree-granting org.") for permanent license types are only available for institutions that grant an academic degree (e.g. B.S., M.S., Ph.D.).
Similar to competing products, the limitation to one year means that after one year
usage the database software will refuse to work, and you have to purchase a new
license, if you would like to continue using the database. Please note that this
is no subscription and thus no cancellation from your side is necessary and there
is no automatic, unwanted renewal.
Prices for permanent licenses
A permanent license of Pearson's Crystal Data (front-end
software and database) is purchased only once with unlimited usage time.
Periodic updates become available every year; they can be purchased
optionally.

Note:
- The prices listed above exclude VAT (value added tax) which may be due.
- Customers from within the European community (except Germany) should provide
their VAT registration number. Without VAT number we have to add 19
percent value added tax (VAT).
- All prices are valid until June 30, 2013.
Delivery options and shipping costs
The default shipping method for Pearson's Crystal Data is electronic delivery: You will receive your license
file as well as your invoice by e-mail. This e-mail will also contain detailed installation instructions, including the link using which the
software installer package can be downloaded (about 1.5 GB).
This download package also contains the full documentation in electronic form. A paper
invoice is available on request without additional costs. There are no shipping costs for this default option.
If you would like to receive a set of installation CD-ROMs along with a color-printed manual, there are additional
shipping costs, depending on whether you are located within Europe (50 EUR) or outside Europe (100 EUR).
