The Pearson's Crystal Data demonstration version is equivalent to the full version, the single exception being the
number of entries included: While the full version contains appr. 150,000 entries, the demonstration version only
contains about 2,600. However, all operations described in the tutorial can also be carried out using the demonstration version.
New software version 1.0c:
A new version of the software where several bugs have been fixed is available.
If you have already Pearson's Crystal Data installed on your computer, please check
the software version by running the command "Software info..." from the "Help" menu.
If your software version is older than 1.0c, you should
first uninstall this old version before you install the latest version:
From the Windows "Start" menu, run "Programs" -> "Pearson's Crystal Data"
-> "Uninstall Pearson's Crystal Data".
Please download the software
package ("setup.exe") using the link below. Afterwards, double-click on the
downloaded file in order to start the installation.
Pearson's Crystal Data is distributed as a compressed self-extracting file for most MS Windows 32-bit
operating systems (98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista). It is provided with a
detailed tutorial and documentation.
We recommend to read the file "Readme.txt" before installation of
Pearson's Crystal Data. There you will find details about system
requirements and instructions for installation:
